In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, I acknowledge my responsibility as a Treaty partner to the people on the traditional and unceded territory of the Ktunaxa, the Kinbasket (Secwepemc), Syilx, and Sinixt Peoples, where I now reside. I acknowledge my responsibility as a Treaty partner to the people who live on and care for the traditional territory on which I was born: the Treaty 7 region which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Districts 5 and 6).
