    Heart-centered counselling focuses on compassionate listening, getting to the heart of the matter, honouring the wisdom of lived experience, and committing to a values-based path forward.

    Dr. Grace focuses on women’s intuitive wisdom and emotions to help women better understand the deepest parts of themselves and commit to moving forward with authenticity. She offers a range of gentle and integrated approaches to help guide your healing process and return to wholeness.

    Complex trauma impacts us deeply in every way - nervous system, immune system, cognitive and emotional functioning, sense of self, relationships, work, being in the world, and passion for life. 

    Dr. Grace specializes in compassionate witnessing for people who have experienced trauma: first responders, victims of violence, narcissistic abuse, medical trauma, clergy perpetrated child sexual abuse, and betrayal trauma. You deserve to remember who you truly are before you were hurt.

    Dr. Grace offers integrated approach to healing so you can experience post-traumatic growth with authenticity, hope, and joy.

    Dr. Grace conducts compassionate and trauma-informed assessments for PTSD. She understands that trauma experiences have enduring impact and require specialized approaches to treatment.

    Dr. Grace has an effective and professional approach for addressing experiences of trauma. She will listen to your story with compassion, design a personalized and comprehensive assessment, and help you tell your story with authenticity.

  • Long COVID, MCAS, & Autoimmune issues

    Are you struggling with Long COVID or autoimmune issues?

    Dr. Grace understands the challenges of living with a complex medical condition. She has lived experience with Long COVID and MCAS. She provides comprehensive assessment & evidence-based recommendations to help you understand the impact of your symptoms on well-being along with psychological aspects of autoimmune issues.

    Dr. Grace provides individual, group psychoecation, and nutritional psychology to help you manage the impact of Long COVID, MCAS, ME/CFS and other autoimmune issues.

  • Play Therapy & Counselling

    Play Therapy helps children understand their world, express themselves, and resolve issues. Dr. Grace offers supportive and creative therapy for children ages 3+ through art, sand tray therapy, storytelling, emotional regulation, and mindfulness. As a former elementary school teacher, Angela has spent her entire career engaging with children in caring and creative ways.

    Counselling is a safe space for children and adolescents to explore issues, consider their values, and better understand themselves in this challenging world. Dr. Grace works with children age 3+.

  • Children with Chronic Illness

    Has your child been ill and not bounced back?

    Dr. Angela Grace understands how frightening it is when your child is ill. She provides individual and family counselling to help manage the impact of Long COVID and improve your child's quality of life. She provides assessment, counselling, and recommendations for home-based management and school-based accommodations. She will advocate for your child.

    Dr. Grace produced the 2026 documentary Children, Families, and Long COVID: What can we do?

    Dr. Grace has co-developed free resources for parents and educators on how to support children with Long COVID and chronic illness.

  • Socio-Emotional Assessment

    Who your child becomes is based on what they experience now. If your child is struggling, please reach out for support and guidance.

    Dr. Grace provides socio-emotional assessments for children and adolescents ages 6+. She takes individual, family, and school factors into consideration when working with children and families.

    As a former elementary teacher, she is able to work closely with parents and educators to provide concise and relevant recommendations for improving children’s and adolescents’ quality of life and mental wellbeing.

Nutritional Psychology

Nutritional psychology integrates knowledge from psychology, nutrition, neuroscience, and food science to understand the complex relationship between diet and mental wellbeing.

  • Food as Medicine

    Dr. Grace believes nutritional psychology is a foundation for mental wellbeing. What we put into our bodies impacts our body, brain chemistry, mood, and cognition.

    Nutritional Psychology is about education and empowerment.

    Dr. Grace strives to help clients understand the connection between food, mental well-being and overall quality of life. She relies on current research and approaches to educate people about options nourish themselves for optimal functioning. She provides simple family-friendly recommendations to help you discover your “happy body” foods, make beneficial lifestyle changes, and improve quality of life.

  • Autoimmune & Long COVID Nutrition

    Dr. Grace continually studies the science behind neurological functioning, immune functioning, cognitive functioning and autoimmune nutrition. She has personal experience managing Long COVID and related autoimmune issues through autoimmune nutrition.

    Dr. Grace studies the science of autoimmune nutrition from international experts. She relies on current research and approaches to educate people about options to nourish themselves and make lifestyle choices for optimal functioning.

    Dr. Grace obtained her Autoimmune Paleo Certified Coach designation from leaders in the field. She is a featured speaker at the annual Autoimmune Paleo Summit.

  • Eating Disorder Recovery

    Dr. Grace has over 20 years of training and experience in helping girls and women overcome eating disorders and body image issues. Drawing on her lived experience and extensive doctoral research, she offers in-depth knowledge and understanding of the nutritional psychology required to overcome food, weight, and body fears with wisdom and compassion.

    Dr. Grace uses a Health at Every Size and respectful embodiment approach to body image and self-nourishment issues.

    Dr. Grace authored an article about how autoimmune paleo approach may be beneficial in eating disorder recovery.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

    Dr. Grace believes a foundation of healing is developing a radical acceptance of reality and a strong commitment to living one’s core values. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a foundation of Dr. Grace’s approach to healing complex trauma and living with chronic illness.

    Acceptance and Commitment fosters a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to self.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

    EMDR is a a highly researched integrative therapy that is effective for the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and other major stressors that affect the nervous system. EMDR as a safe and effective approach for processing complex trauma. 

    Dr. Grace is a certified EMDR therapist with over 20 years of experience.

  • Core Shamanism

    The root of the word “psychology” is “psyche”, which is the soul. Psychology and spirituality are inextricably connected.

    Core Shamanism is a global, non-religious approach to accessing inner spiritual resources. Core Shamanism is an ancient system of soul healing through authentic, powerful, and effective shamanic healing protocols, particularly drumming.

    Dr. Grace studies with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and international mentors, and is held to the highest of ethical standards.

  • Psychedelic Preparation and Integration

    Dr. Grace believes in and studies the sacred healing power of psilocybin and plant medicine.  Her approach to psychedelic therapy is rooted in deep respect for ancient plant medicines and emphasizes harm reduction.

    Dr. Grace is certified by Therapsil to safely and effectively guide clients through the therapeutic aspects of psilocybin preparation and integration.

  • Neuroexperiential Approaches

    A neuroexperiential model focuses on deep brain and sensory integration to process trauma and promote healing. It prioritizes sensory and somatic experiences over top-down cognitive processing. Dr. Grace helps you utilize your own visual, auditory, and kinesthetic experiences to access conscious awareness and deepen your inner resources.

  • Energy Psychology

    Emotional wellbeing and experiences of joy can be dramatically enhanced by mindful awareness and shifting the energies in the body. The body is composed of energetic pathways and centers that are in a dynamic interplay with your cells, organs, emotions, and experiences.

    Energy psychology is a synthesis of practices designed to shift the subtle energies in the body. This approach draws on mindfulness, Eastern approaches, vagus nerve calming, sound therapy, and acupoints for a holistic body-mind-spirit approach to emotional support and peacefulness.

    Dr. Grace is trained in Emotional Freedom Technique, Iyengar Yoga, and is a certified Level I/II Usui Reiki Practitioner.

  • Iyengar Yoga

    Iyengar yoga is a traditional and well-researched system of yoga that focuses on alignment, breathwork, and self-awareness to improve mental wellbeing, physical functioning, and health-related quality of life.

    Dr. Grace is an Internationally Certified Iyengar Level I/II and Pranayama instructor.
